New Feature: Subtitle Alert (for TV Series)

We know how much time is wasted going from site to site, searching for a subtitle.
That's why we decided to do something about it and let the users know when a subtitle is ready to be downloaded.

Subtitlesync now provides subtitle alert by email, to notify the addition of subtitles to our database.

How it works?

First of all, you have to be a registered user. If you haven't registered, you can subscribe now by clicking  Regístrese aquí.

Then go to the page of the episode whose subtitle you are looking for. You can do that by:

• Click on the episode link in the calendar.
• Click on the TV Series link in the calendar, then pick an episode.
• Click on the Tv Series link in the top bar, pick a TV Series and an episode.

At the episode page, click on Create Alert.

A list of languages will pop up. Be aware that:

• If you pick ALL you will be notified every time a subtitle gets uploaded, regardless of the language.
• If you pick a LANGUAGE (for instance: Spanish (All)) you will be notified for all the regions (*)
• If you pick a LANGUAGE and REGIÓN, you will be only notified for that specific region.

* Latinamerican Spanish, European Spanish and Neutral Spanish

The search process will run every 2 hours, and you will receive an email only if there is a new subtitle in the time period.
Don't worry, we won't spam your email account!

In this first stage, we will only provide 3 alerts per user.

Removing an alert is also simple: go to the User Preferences page.
In the Subtitle Alert tab, you will find a list with all your alerts. To remove any, click on the Delete icon.

And one more thing, we are perfecting this process and may not work perfectly fort the time being.
So be pacient and in case it doesn't work, please let us know.
